This initiative will improve efficiency, yield optimization, and traceability across CMI’s operations.

Optimizing Poultry Processing Through Digital Transformation
CMI's processing plant in Santa Lucía Cotzumalguapa currently relies on various manual and semi-automated systems for weighing, tracking, and monitoring poultry operations. The implementation of CYNERGY MES will improve data collection and process efficiency by integrating advanced real-time monitoring capabilities into existing workflows. Key improvements include:
- Enhanced Weighing & Receiving – Integration of new DataCat systems and additional PC-connected scales for better weight measurement and data processing.
- Advanced Counting & Tracking – Upgraded counters in key processing areas, enabling real-time monitoring of line speed and efficiency.
- Improved Inspection & Disposition (I&D) Data Collection – Upgraded stations to capture detailed reasons and quantities for product rejections, enhancing traceability.
- Comprehensive Temperature Monitoring – Additional temperature probes to ensure continuous real-time monitoring of scalding and chilling processes, maintaining optimal processing conditions.
- Integrated Data Governance Framework – Standardized reporting and measurement metrics across sites to maintain data integrity and support continuous improvement initiatives.
