The RFID tag or barcode is married to each carcass side for tracking. It identifies where loss is occurring in the deboning process and enables floor personnel to proactively improve performance. The application integrates with rail scales for real-time weights. Weights of hocks, horns, hides, heads, or any sub-product are captured via hopper scales, Modbus scales, or DataCats.
Our Hot & Cold Scale Integration provides real-time data from the plant floor tracking weight and yield. As the carcass enters the hot scale, each side is automatically weighed and recorded in the system. The grade of the carcass is also assigned and recorded. As each side enters the cold scale, weight is recorded automatically for comparison to hot weight.
