Instrumentation Technician

Requirements:

• Two-year Technical Trade or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years experience installing, training and repairing electrical/pneumatic/embedded controllers/industrial machines
• Minimum of 2 years Field Service and/or troubleshooting experience
• Must possess a strong working knowledge of computers and most common software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make technical presentations
• Self motivated, energetic individual willing to travel up to 80% of the time
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Work out of our office when not in a customer location.

Responsibilites:

• Assure that the CAT experience will fulfill the promise of superior performance, service and quality
• Installation and setup of CAT Equipment Electrical/ Pneumatic/ Embedded controllers
• Provide training to operators and maintenance personnel, install machine enhancements, and appropriately test and calibrate parts to meet tolerances and product specifications
• Complete pro-active courtesy calls to customers, provide remote customer service
• Perform in-house or on-site test and demos and present results in a professional manner
  

Programmer

Requirements:

• 4 GL programming skills
• experience in manufacturing environments a plus
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• good background in database theory
