2010 User Summit
Our Partners

We could never deliver complete solutions without assistance from our valuable partners; the partners listed below will be at the 2010 CAT2 Process Improvement and User Summit to discuss and demonstrate their equipment and solutions.

In 1997, Cooling & Applied Technology, Inc., (C.A.T.) began developing chilling systems and other auxiliary equipment for the poultry industry.  Since that time, their FATCAT line of chilling systems has become the industry standard.  The company now boasts scale, refrigeration, and pumping and heat transfer divisions as well.  In 2004, C.A.T. acquired MEPSCO, Inc., the leader in injection technology and equipment for the poultry and red meat industries.  In 2005, C.A.T. grew to over 80,000 square feet of manufacturing floor space with the completion of a new ASME vessel manufacturing facility and a state-of-the-art machining facility.  C.A.T. has become a global force in processing equipment manufacturing by keeping one simple direction in mind: value to their clients.

We have greatly valued the relationship we have CAT2.  Together, we are able to offer a turnkey solution that includes software, custom equipment, and professional services.  This relationship works well, not only because our products complement each other’s so well, but also because we share the same philosophy of quality, customer service, and integrity. Together, we have formed a powerful and resourceful partnership that continues to deliver high quality solutions for our customers.

noax Industrial PCs.jpg

noax Technologies develops, manufactures, and supports fully-enclosed industrial touch-panel computers for challenging environments, such as food processing, manufacturing, warehousing, and mobile applications. At noax, their goal is to make customers more profitable; they accomplish this goal by offering the most reliable, longest-lasting PC equipment on the market. noax’s commitment to quality is attributed to their proprietary development and production processes, using only the highest grade industrial components. Due to their rugged, totally-sealed construction and smooth, bacteria-resistant stainless steel enclosures, noax PCs are completely protected against shock, vibration, water, acids, and detergents and are certified up to IP69k.

CAT2 first began working with noax in 2001, as their customers needed a reliable PC solution that could both effectively run CAT2 software and survive the harsh conditions present in the meat processing industry. Based on excellent feedback and the reliability their customers experienced with noax PCs in the field, CAT2 has since made the decision to offer only noax PCs as part of their product offering; our relationship is one that we hope will continue to grow for many years.

Panasonic Solutions Company empowers people whose jobs depend on reliable technology. The company delivers collaboration, information sharing, and decision support solutions for customers in a variety of commercial enterprises. Products and services within the company’s portfolio include Panasonic Toughbook® mobile computing solutions and professional displays (including both plasma and LCD). As a result of its commitment to R&D, manufacturing, and quality control, Panasonic is known for the reliability and longevity of its products.

The partnership between CAT2 and Panasonic Solution Company developed in 2009, when CAT2 began looking for new touch-screen tablet computers to use for data collection on the plant floor.  Not only did the unit need to be light-weight, reliable, and easy to use, it also needed to possess characteristics mandatory for the plant floor environment—namely, the unit must be rugged and able to be sanitized.  We provided CAT2 with our new H1 tablet computers and accessories, which fulfilled all of these needs.  Working together, we have launched a complete solution by providing engineering, support, and service along with our hardware.  We see CAT2 as a long-term partner and innovator in software- and hardware-based solutions within the food processing industry.
