Executive Dashboard and Scoreboards
Executive Dashboard and Scoreboard applications are tools designed to make
plant-floor data readily available to personnel.
Dashboard is a powerful yet user-friendly portal into a plant’s
underlying systems and provides management with real-time charts,
graphs, gauges, and reports; these tools can be used to effectively
oversee personnel, machinery, and production processes from any
location within an organization. This is a valuable tool for managing
production processes remotely, whether you have one facility or
is an extension of the Executive Dashboard and is used to provide
real-time feedback to operators on the plant floor through graphic-rich
reports, charts, and graphs. This immediate feedback has proven to
increase performance and efficiencies. The CAT2 Scoreboard
works with various plant-floor displays, from large LED scoreboards to
LCD and LED TV screens enclosed in protective Nema 4X housings.

Food Safety and
Quality Management System (HAT)
7.22 Release Date: 3/18/2011
Along with picture and PDF documents, HAT now supports audio
files, video files, and websites. These files can be associated
with courses in HAT’s training module to maintain version
control. They may also be attached to checks, allowing operators
to reference the files while collecting data with the HAT Touch-Screen
application on the plant floor.
Role-Based Checks: In HAT, you may now create role-based checks;
a role is a list of processes- and/or product-based checks that
operators perform in a specific sequence. Personnel are assigned
to roles based on their job responsibilities and qualifications.
Check screens automatically pop up in order, allowing operators to
complete their checks in a more timely manner. You may also
assign people to receive notifications if a role fails on a variety of
criteria, including a combination of minor, major, and critical checks.
Processing Tool Series (PPTS)

Full SSRS Integration: PPTS now
supports full Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
integration. All new reports will be delivered in SSRS and will be
integrated directly into the applications. Customers also have the
ability to customize and design their own reports then make them
accessible from the applications.
Management System (WMS)
6.22 Release Date: 4/30/2011
New Configurable Shipping Rules: WMS has new
shipping rules that can be configured at the level of the product,
customer, cooler/freezer, or order. At the product level and/or
at the customer/product level, you may define maximum pre-ship and
maximum forward-dated pre-ship age restrictions. You may also
configure rules at the cooler/freezer level that require product to remain
there for a set amount of time before being shipped. You may
choose to allow or disallow mixing fresh and frozen products on the
same order. At the order level, optionally specify age range
limitations for each order item.
New VB.Net Palm Applications: The Receiving,
Dry Goods Manager, and Egg Inventory Manager palm applications have
been ported to VB.Net, making use of feature-rich controls such as the
slider bar, data grid and more. The apps also include native support
for various hand-held scanner models including Symbol, Motorola,
