CAT², a global software solutions and processing equipment company, provides software tools for the food industry in the areas of plant monitoring, HACCP, and further processing.  They also produce food chilling and processing equipment for the poultry industry.

Although our roots are in the poultry industry, CAT has expanded across many industries including catfish, red meat, prepared foods, and other industries across America, Latin America, and many other countries.

History

CAT², is the alliance of two successful companies, M-Tech International and CAT.  The two companies combined their core competencies to offer a turnkey solution to the food processing industry.

Both companies beginnings were in the poultry industry.  M-Tech International was founded in 1995 to provide solutions to the commercial layer and broiler processing industries.  Cooling and Applied Technologies (CAT), founded in 1995, specialized in food chilling and processing equipment in the poultry industry.
